Fifth day of the mobility

The participants wrote their impressions on the online diary of the project, expressing their feeling after completing the mobility and after participating in the project.

The students and the teachers complete the evaluation surveys about the online mobility.

The fourth day of the mobility

Leonardo Detectives was the most spectacular activity: the participants worked in international teams using the break out rooms in order to solve the mysteries of Leonardo’s intricate professional life, most of them connected to the previous activities of the project.

The activity was designed to sum up the most relevant parts of the implementation and its outcomes throughout the 3-year span of the project.

The participants revised many of the previous activities and, this way, they had the educational opportunities to boost their competencies related to STEAM.

The third day of the mobility

The practical activities of the mobility implied to build the five platonic solids and the geodesic dome. The participants followed the steps provided by host partner and they managed, step by step, to get the shapes and the dome. The practical activities of the mobility implied to build the five platonic solids and the geodesic dome. Having built the five Platonic solids, students complete the worksheet. They were asked to make a conjecture about these data. They discovered the relationship, known as Euler’s formula, V-E+F=2 , where V  – represents the number of vertices, E  the number of edges, and F  the number of faces. They also used GeoGebra app to visualize better the shapes in 3-D and to decompose and to watch them from different perspectives for an accurate understanding of the topic.

Second day of the (virtual) mobility

All participants were involved in a Genially Escape Room Game with information, videos, quizzes about Poland and Golub-Dobrzyń, a virtual tour of the hosting town and country. Students could found out more cultural and geographical information while exploring the places and solving the tasks of the activity.

The participants played together a quiz about what they had just discovered about the host country and region.

The presentation of the platonic solids and the geodesic dome allowed the participants to boost their math knowledge and to gain the information background for the next day activities.

Online mobility in Poland (Day1)

The 6th mobility of the project take place online due to Pandemic restrictions in Europe. Partners can't travel physically but they can travel together online collaborating in achieving common tasks connected to the topic of the mobility, Leonardo the scientist and the mathematician.

The general theme of the mobility is Leonardo the Scientist and the Mathematician and the online mobility take place between 24th to 28th May 2021.

All teams filled in its part in writing the multi-language mini dictionary connected to the mobility topic (Geometry, Platonic solids and Geodesic Dome - Vocabulary List). Activities implied filling in a mentimetre questionnaire about the participants’ expectations for the mobility activities and the participants’ presentations on the online diary.
