The third day of the mobility

The practical activities of the mobility implied to build the five platonic solids and the geodesic dome. Having built the five Platonic solids, students complete the worksheet. They were asked to make a conjecture about these data. They discovered the relationship, known as Euler’s formula, V-E+F=2 , where V  – represents the number of vertices, E  the number of edges, and F  the number of faces. They also used GeoGebra app to visualize better the shapes in 3-D and to decompose and to watch them from different perspectives for an accurate understanding of the topic.
