Having built the five Platonic solids,
students complete the worksheet. They were asked to make a conjecture about
these data. They discovered the relationship, known as Euler’s formula, V-E+F=2 ,
where V – represents the number of vertices, E the
number of edges, and F the number of faces. They also used GeoGebra app to visualize better
the shapes in 3-D and to decompose and to watch them from different
perspectives for an accurate understanding of the topic.
